AI Applied Scientist & PhD Candidate in Artificial Intelligence
University of Barcelona
I am a PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Barcelona, where my research centres on few-shot learning and computer vision — teaching models to recognise what they have barely seen before, and understanding why they get it right or wrong.
I also teach. At EADA Business School I teach Python to students of finance and fintech, and since 2025 at EAE Business School. Earlier, as an adjunct professor at the University of Barcelona, I lectured on artificial intelligence, computer vision and distributed software in the Computer Science and Mathematics degree.
In parallel I am the founder of Baboon Technologies, where the research becomes production: real-time vision systems for sport analytics, live broadcasting, industrial sensor monitoring and financial tooling. I started out as an electronic engineer — first at UPC, then at SEAT — and moved into applied AI in 2018. That path still shapes how I work: I care about methods that survive contact with a live system.
